Trek Andorra 2017

The aim of the expedition is to trek part of the high level route in the Pyrenees. The 106 mile (170km) route rises and falls 13500m in elevation as it winds its way around the border of the principality of Andorra. The average altitude is just over 2000m but there are 16 peaks or passes upwards of 2400m in altitude, including the highest point in the principality, Comapedrosa (2942m) making the journey a real physical challenge.

To add to the challenge we have a short 10 day schedule to complete the trek. The expedition is intended to be compact so high levels of fitness and team work are essential. Participants will be expected to carry their own equipment and to be completely self-sufficient for a number of consecutive days. Trekking at this level requires total commitment.

As such we shall be holding a selection weekend to determine if you have the right qualities for such a trip.
